Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF)

The SPF systems provide attractive, durable, waterproof coverings that bonds tightly to nearly any properly prepared surface. The foam is professionally applied with a spray gun that mixes two liquid components to form a rigid polyurethane foam (PUF). It’s so lightweight- about eight ounces per square foot- it can be applied

 

over most existing roof systems without exceeding the structural load capacity. Yet it is amazingly strong, easily withstanding foot traffic and other weight requirements. SPF roofs keep saving you money by reducing tear off cost, keeping hot air out and warm air in the building in the winter. The seamless system reduces the need for repairs and unlike some systems recoats with ease, extending the life of the roof.

SPF Insulation-

The solid seal vapor barrier and excellent insulating properties makes polyurethane foam the ideal residential, commercial, and agricultural insulation. Although R-Value is important, government studies estimate that as much as 40% of a building’s energy is loss due to “air infiltration”. Polyurethane foam solves this problem by creating a solid seal when applied to walls and ceilings. This solid seal not only stops air infiltration but serves to control moisture condensation within cavities of a stud wall.

Single Ply Systems-

At CR Systems we believe in WHITE energy roofing at all levels including our single ply systems. A PVC membrane is tough yet pliable, with excellent tear and chemical resistance and backed by watertight and material warranties.
